Just reached the 50K mark. I don’t know whether I’ll be able to validate it as the novel’s not yet finished. I’ve never really validated one of my novels that I wrote for NaNoWriMo before so I’m still in the dark to how it works.
As you know, my excitement to pull out my other project from its tomb in my drawer has been overwhelming me but last night I found myself being more involved in my current project. Even though it has no clear genre (I thought it was going to be a young adult but I don’t think that it’ll be acceptable for a young audience) this also leaves me with the predicament of validating my novel.
I am not one for wishing the time away but seriously. February needs to hurry up and get here. That’ll be my belated Christmas present. Sitting down to open that file and delve into my work. At this rate I’ll not have the strength to write for JanuWriMo, a project that I’m doing with a writer’s group. It’s a bit like NaNo but in January. I have a feeling it’s going to be even more of a challenge than NaNoWriMo. But I love a challenge so bring it on.
